In 2007, Mr. Pacheco represented Hawaii as one of School Band & Orchestra Magazine’s “50 Director’s That Make a Difference”. And in 2004 was Sam’s Club’s National “Teacher of the Year”, representing Hawaii. He has 20 years teaching experience in the State of Hawaii, is a part time member of the Royal Hawaiian Band, and plays & sings professionally around the state. He has played trombone on Keahiwai’s “Dangerous” CD, and in concert with Motown’s The Temptations, Four Tops, & Mary Wells, to name a few. This is his first year as KMS’s Band Director.
