First visit for illness or injuries:

Monday through Friday:

  • Grades 9 – 12 - Students may report to Hale Ola at 6:30 a.m. for initial evaluation. Students will be seen in the order of their sign-in. There will be no priority given to grade levels. All students will be seen on a first-come, first-served basis unless the nature of the illness or injury requires immediate care and will take precedence.
  • Grades 7 & 8 – Boarders will report to Kalanimoku Dispensary for evaluation by the nurse. If further evaluation is required by the Nurse Practitioner, the student will either be sent to Hale Ola or be scheduled to be seen at the Kalanimoku Dispensary by the Nurse Practitioner.

Recheck Appointments:

All students who are to be rechecked will receive an appointment card and will be scheduled as follows:

  • Grades 9 – 12 - Recheck visits are scheduled before school begins, during free periods in the school day, or after school. Attempts are made to follow-up students at times and days that reduce any loss of class time.
  • Grades 7 & 8 - Recheck visits will be during their lunch hour at Kalanimoku Dispensary during routine follow-up clinics by the Nurse Practitioner. The students will be evaluated either before or after they have had lunch, then return to their next class.
