The
Best Practice
Classroom management which fosters
respect for one another, engages students
in self-control for the purpose of learning and teaches perseverence for
the attainment of common goals is the best kind of classroom management.
Good classroom management is possible when the teacher focuses on and
rewards positive learning behaviors. Teachers know true classroom management
is in operation when students themselves initiate disciplined behavior
in support of everyone's progress. The non-judgmental teaching I strive
to practice is based on this concept of classroom management.
