Arts
Our
time in language arts will be spent reading and
reflecting on the many folktales of China.
Math
In our next
unit we will practice solving comparison and mixed set of
number stories. We will also practice collecting and
graphing data.
Social
Studies
We are
beginning our visit to China. We will be studying about
China's geography, history and people.
Science
In science we
are now studying different cycles in nature. We have
begun our study on the cycle of the moon. The students
have been observing the moon nightly and have seen it go
from waxing crescent to waning crescent. They have also
begun their study of the plant cycle by going on a nature
hike and planting green beans.
