This is
my twenty-ninth year of teaching here at
Kamehameha Schools and I continue to love teaching here! The
students are the best and we have such supportive parents
and staff!
Born on
the island of Maui in the sleepy (then it was) town of
Lahaina, I lived in a sugar plantation camp and have many
stories to tell about growing up. It sure was
fun!
I
graduated from Lahainaluna High School and earned my
bachelor's and master's degrees in education at the
University of Arizona (where it seems many of UH coaches
end up).
My one
son, Matthew, is currently attending University of
Hawaii at Manoa and is my biggest
blessing.
I love to attend UH volleyball
games, read, exercise (when I can) and just hang out with friends and
family. My favorite thing to do is to listen to myparents, uncles and
aunties talk about the their memories. One of my goals in life is to
write a book about these memoirs.
