All About Ka'i'ini

Hi! My name is Ka’i.
My full Hawaiian name is Ka’i’inimaikalani. It
means “the desire that comes from heaven.” My
birthday is January 9, 1995. I am 9 years old.

My favorite sport is
cheerleading. My pictures that i chose were taken with the
varsity cheerleading squad from Kamehameha Schools, at the
Aloha Stadium. We practiced for three days at Kekuhaupio Gym
with some of the cheerleaders. They taught us how to stretch
and some of their routines.

We got to go on the
field and cheer for the last game of the season. It was very
fun but the football players lost, but that’s okay.
The only thing that wasn’t good was the people in the
booth were afraid that we would get hurt on the field so we
had to get off the field. Next year they want us to come back
and they might get us uniforms, the same ones they have, but
smaller. I love cheerleading!
