Aloha Kakou,

Our first performance for the HUGS organization which is an annual holiday dinner for children who are terminally ill is this Sunday, November 17th at the Hawai'i Okinawa Center in Waipi'o.  We are including the whole choir for this concert.

Our performance time is now slightly later than first stated.  We will be performing from 6:40-7:05 p.m.  Also, the drop off time is now 5:15 instead of 5:00 p.m.  Dinner for the choir will be 5:30-6:00 p.m.  Pick up time will be 7:10 p.m.

Dress will be our "special events uniform", which is the KES white polo shirt and uniform long pants (boys) and skirt (girls).  Footwear is the regular shoes they wear to school.  Please make sure that the girls have their hair out of their faces, no jewelry, and any hair accessory should be black.  They will also have special activities for the HUGS kids to enjoy and for our choir members to enjoy after the performance.  If your child will not be able to attend, please let me know ASAP.

If you can help with equipment that day, please meet at the music room at 3:45 p.m.  We will load up equipment and then drive it down to the Okinawa Center.  We will be feeding you dinner.  When the performance is done, we will tear down and then load up the equipment and then bring it back to the music room.  If you haven?t already, please let me or Kalani Fronda know if you are available to help.

The new garments bags will be passed out next week Monday.

Please start bringing in your items (household items and canned goods) for the Thanksgiving Baskets.  We will be collecting items from now until Monday, November 25th, when we will be putting them together after choir rehearsal from 3:20-4:00 p.m.

Mahalo nui loa,
Mrs. Bright
