The KSCC have been invited by the high school to sing at their Veteran's Day Assembly on Friday, November 7th.
The Assembly starts at 1:56 p.m. We will be bussing the KSCC up at 1:45 p.m. they will be returning to KES just at the end of school. Thus, they will be missing the last 45 minutes of school.
Please have your child wear their KES Special events uniform which is their white KES polo shirt and skirt or long pants. If your child's teacher feels that he/she is behind on their work and can't go, they will not be able to attend. We will be having regular choir rehearsal that afternoon from 2:30-3:15 p.m. as usual.

Rehearsal at Ko Olina

Wednesday, November 19th
9:30 a.m. - 2:00 p.m.
Ko Olina

The KSCC have been invited to sing at the new Disney Hotel Ground Breaking Ceremony at Ko Olina on Wednesday, November 19th. They will be leaving school about 9:30 a.m., performing, eating lunch, and returning to school about 2:00 p.m. Students will be missing half a day of school, so they are required to make up any work missed. If their teacher feels that he/she cannot attend due to missing work, or behavior, they will not be able to attend.
We will be having a rehearsal the day before on Tuesday, November 18th. We will be leaving school at 2:45, rehearsing at the Ko Olina, eating a snack and then returning to school at about 7:00 p.m. We will try to have study hall during their breaks. We will have a light dinner waiting for them back at school to take home.
Please pick up your child at the music room at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday, November 18th. Don't forget to pack their KSCC uniform in a garment bag for the next morning. We will hopefully have our KSCC uniforms finished that week and will be passing them out a few days before the 19th.

  • boxed foods (rice varieties, stuffing, mac & cheese, etc)
  • dry cereal (any variety)
  • dried saimin (Cup of Noodles, etc.)
  • powered milk, packets of hot chocolate or tea
  • soap, shampoo, toothpaste, toothbrushes
  • Kleenex, paper towels, toilet paper
  • daily cleaning household items

  •      You may start bringing in your donations, or sending them with your child to the music room from now until Tuesday, November 25th.
