2004-10

Contents: This collection includes the Half-Mile Relay team trophy, the original and copies of the 1922 Kamehameha School for Boys Track and Field Team photograph, and the names of all the members of the team.

Provenance: Hailama Farden, a Hawaiian Language teacher at Kamehameha Schools found the trophy in his classroom when he began teaching in 1992. He is a grand nephew of one of the half mile team members, Bernard N. Farden, KSB Class of 1921. Bernard was also the captain of the championship 1922 Track and Field Team. Before bringing the trophy to the KS Archives, he and Bernard's grand-daughter, Cathy "Holo" Stephens Ralar, polished the silver-plated trophy.
